Founded in 1982 in Dublin, Ireland by the late Ita Cadwell and 12 other Dublin-based teachers, Cumann Rince Náisiúnta (the National Dance Association) of Ireland is an organization that prides itself on maintaining the tradition in Irish dancing while actively encouraging the development of new and innovative work.

CRN is known for welcoming others under our open platform and keeping our dancers healthy through our safety guidelines.   Over the past 30 years, Cumann Rince Náisiúnta (CRN) has expanded throughout the World to include teachers in England, Scotland, Wales, Holland, Belgium, Australia, China and throughout the USA.

At Ni Riain School of Irish Dance, students build poise, confidence and friendships while learning 
Irish dance as a traditional and creative art form.  Our school cultivates excellence through positive 
reinforcement, promoting a sense of community through varied performance opportunities, 
and nurturing camaraderie and goodwill towards fellow dancers both near and far.
Ni Riain School of Irish Dance has been located in York, Pennsylvania since 2009.
